The company “AVEK VEKRAKOS S.A.” (hereafter “AVEK” or “Company”) trades in beverages and beverage preparation machinery, addressing professional and retail customers either from its present website or from its central facilities, located in Metamorfosi Attica, 10-14, Nafpliou Str.
AVEK, as the Data Controller, respects your personal data and manages it in accordance with the current legislation on personal data protection. This Privacy Policy intends to help you understand what personal data we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, how we share it and how you can control it. By accessing our website and/or disclosing to us personal data of you or your partners, in the context of our commercial transactions, you consent to the practices described in this privacy policy.

For the avoidance of doubt, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them below:
- “Products”: the beverages and machines that we sell or provide to our customers
- “Services”: the pre- and post-sale services and other services related to the products checked by us, either online or in our physical store.
- “Personal data”: any information that can be used alone or in combination with other information to identify or locate a subject. Personal Data includes, but is not limited to, your full name or company’s name, address, region, country, e-mail address, confirmation that you are over 18, telephone number and VAT number. It is pointed out that personal data does not include information that has been anonymized.
- “Cookies”: small pieces of information stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive that allow us to recognize your computer when you browse our online services.
1. To whom does this Policy apply?
This Policy applies to any natural or legal person who visits our Website at www.avek.gr (hereafter “Website”), including those who use our Website without being registered, for whom (natural or legal person) AVEK collects and processes their personal data as a Personal Data Processor .
The main categories of natural persons are listed as examples:
- Our customers and their employees.
- Visitors to our website.
- Third Parties who communicate with us.
- Commercial partners of the company.
2. What personal data do we collect?
We collect personal data that is provided to us directly, personal data generated during your visit to our website and personal data from our business partners. We do not collect personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs and any other sensitive (banking or financial information, etc.) data determined by applicable data protection legislation.
• Personal data that you directly provide to us
You directly provide us with contact information and other personal data when you interact with us through various channels, such as when you make a phone call, send an e-mail, fill out a visit or contact/expression of interest form on the Company Website, submit a request, participate in a video conference , create an account on the Website, enter a competition, complete a customer satisfaction survey or have any commercial transaction with us.
• Personal data generated on our website
Some of your personal data may be automatically generated while you visit our website, such as the IP address of your device, the browser you use, etc. Our online services may use cookies or other similar technologies to collect such data .
• Personal data from our partners
In some cases, we may collect your personal data from our business partners, such as our distributors or resellers, who may collect this data either from you, in the context of your business relationship, or from their business partner .
• Financial information from a payment service provider
To purchase a product or make a payment to the Company, we use an unaffiliated Eurobank payment service (“Payment Service”). If you wish to purchase a product or make a payment through the Payment Service, you will be directed to the website of the Payment Service platform. Any information you provide to the Payment Service will be subject to the Payment Service’s Privacy Policy and not to this Privacy Policy. We have no control and we are not responsible for any use by the Payment Service of information collected through the Payment Service.
We ask that you do not share or disclose to us sensitive personal information (such as social security numbers, information about your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, criminal background, or membership to trade unions) on or through the Company Services or otherwise.
• Connected services
The Website may also link to websites, including social networking sites, that are operated by unaffiliated companies and may serve advertisements or offer content, functionality, games, newsletters, contests or applications developed and maintained by unaffiliated companies . The services offered by linked websites are outside the scope of this Policy and the Company is not responsible for the Privacy practices of unaffiliated companies. Therefore once you leave our Website or click on an advertisement we encourage you to check the applicable Privacy Policy of the other service.
3. How can we use your personal data?
We may use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Entering into a contract and completing a transaction or service you requested, such as, but not limited to, completing the process of selling a product and/or service you requested through our website.

The security of your personal data is extremely important to us. We have taken appropriate physical, technical and internally organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, in order to avoid any form of loss, unauthorized use, modification and/or destruction. For example, we use access control mechanisms to allow only authorized access to your personal data, cryptographic technologies and protocols for the confidentiality of personal data (such as indicative SSL 256bit encryption) and protection mechanisms to prevent system attacks (such as indicative firewall systems and antivirus).
People who have access to your personal data on our behalf have, among other things, a duty of secrecy and confidentiality, based on the rules of conduct and the rules of professional practice.
Regarding the retention period of your personal data, we undertake to retain it only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Policy and in compliance with applicable Data Protection Legislation. However, we may retain your data for a longer period if this is deemed necessary for legal, tax or other reasons, or if this is required by a Public Authority. We try to ensure that unnecessary data is deleted or anonymized as soon as possible.
5. How do we share your personal data?
AVEK does not trade, rent or exploit your personal data. We may share information about you with our business partners, service and product suppliers, resellers and authorized representatives (collectively “third parties”), your organization’s account managers and/or our partners for any of the purposes stated in this Policy.
In the case that a third party processes your personal data as a processor on behalf of ABEK and, therefore, acts at our request and in accordance with our instructions, we enter into a two-way confidentiality and data processing agreement with third parties, which meets the specifications and the requirements set out in the current Data Protection Legislation.
In addition, we may share your personal data with the national authorities, if requested and if permitted by applicable legislation, for reasons of security or public interest.
6. How can you control your personal data?
You have the right to control the management of your personal data in the following ways:
- You have the right to be informed about the type of personal data we hold about you.
- You have the right to request that we correct, supplement, delete or block your personal data if it is incorrect, incomplete or processed in violation of any legal provisions. If you choose to delete your personal data, you should be aware that we may retain some of it to the extent necessary to prevent fraud and abuse and/or to comply with legal or tax requirements as imposed by applicable Law or Public Authority.
- You have the right at any time to unsubscribe free of charge from our mailing lists if you no longer wish to receive promotional updates and technical support.
- You have also the right to object to the processing of your personal data. We will act to stop processing based on the requirements of the Legislation. We will continue to process your personal data, only in cases where there are valid and compelling reasons that override your interests, rights and freedoms or are related to the exercise or documentation of a legal action.
7. Personal data about minors
Our products and services are not directed at minors under the age of 15 and neither do they knowingly collect personal data from children without the explicit and written consent of the parents / guardians exercising parental care in a clear and specific manner and after the latter have previously studied this Policy. If you find that your child has provided us with personal data without your permission, you can notify us at gdpr@avek.gr. If you notify us or we find that we have collected personal data from minors under the age of 15, we will delete that data as soon as possible.
8. Our contacts and complaints procedure
If you have any questions about this Policy or if you wish to exercise your rights to control and manage your personal data, or if you believe that we have breached this Policy or any applicable Data Protection Legislation, please contact us by sending an email to gdpr@avek.gr. Please provide us with specific details of your request as well as the necessary supporting evidence. We will investigate the issue and determine the steps required to appropriately resolve the matter. We may contact you to request additional information and/or to inform you of the outcome of the investigation.
If, despite this, we do not provide you with enough information, or we did not adequately respond to your request, or you consider that your rights may be violated by the Company’s practices, you have the right to contact the Personal Data Protection Authority, 1 Kifisias Ave., Athens 115 23, tel. 2106475600 or at the online address www.dpa.gr.
9. Applicable Law / Extension of Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the legislation of Greece and the European Union. For all disputes and disagreements between the contracting parties, which arise from or relate to this Privacy Policy, the Courts of Athens are designated as competent.
10. Policy changes
This Policy is effective as of June 10, 2021 and may be revised at any time to comply with applicable Legislation or other reasonable business requirements. In case of revision of this policy, AVEK will publish the changes on its website and the new Privacy Policy will be effective from its publication. We recommend that you periodically check this website to be informed of the applicable Privacy Policy.
ANNEX A — Processing of Personal Data for Events & Questionnaires
This section applies specifically to participation in events, seminars, activities, and related questionnaires organized by AVEK.
1. What data is collected
Full name, contact details (telephone, e-mail), as well as responses provided in the questionnaire.
2. Purpose of processing
Evaluation of the event, improvement of the Organizer’s services, and the possibility of future communication regarding similar events, services, or activities.
3. Legal basis
The processing is based on the data subject’s explicit consent, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Greek Law 4624/2019.
4. Recipients
Access to the data may be granted to authorized partners or data processors acting on behalf of the Organizer, solely for the above purposes and under confidentiality obligations.
5. Retention period
The data will be retained for a period of two (2) years and will then be securely deleted, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
6. Data subject rights
The data subject has the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without retroactive effect, by contacting: gdpr@avek.gr or by phone at: 210 2820220.
The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
7. Voluntary provision
The provision of the above data is optional and does not affect participation in the event.
Interest for Employment
The company under the name “AVEK VEKRAKOS S.A.”, headquartered at 10–14 Nafpliou Street, Metamorfosi, Attica (hereinafter “AVEK”, “We”, or the “Company”), is, under applicable legislation, the Data Controller of the personal data of candidates within the framework of their expression of interest to work at the Company (hereinafter the “Application”).
Ensuring the protection of personal data submitted to the Company is of utmost importance to us. This Notice aims to describe the type of personal data we collect from candidates, the manner and purposes for which we collect them, the third parties with whom we share these data, as well as the rights that candidates retain, in full compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and its implementing Law 4624/2019.
By notifying us of their personal data, candidates consent to the practices described in this Notice, as further specified below.
This Notice applies and is valid simultaneously and in conjunction with the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use of the Company’s website. We encourage candidates to review the contents of the above documents before submitting their expression of interest and sending their CV and other personal data.
Personal Data We Collect
In the context of evaluating the Applications we receive, we collect and process (among others) the following personal data from our candidates:
- Identity details: full name, age, nationality, etc.
- Contact details: postal address, email address, telephone number, etc.
- Information relating to education, professional experience, and any certifications or other professional qualifications of the candidate.
- Information regarding the completion or non-completion of mandatory military service.
- Other information about candidates, such as information contained in recommendation letters and/or letters of interest.
- Information concerning any reasons for rejection of the Application.
- Information derived from questionnaires and surveys regarding the interview and evaluation process, as well as how the candidate learned about us.
Why We Collect Them
In view of a potential employment relationship that may be established with the candidate, we collect and process some of the above personal data that are necessary for recording and evaluating the candidate’s Application.
The evaluation takes into account information and data contained in electronic application forms, CVs, letters of interest, recommendation letters, etc., or information that arises during interviews conducted between us.
Consent
Sending a CV and/or recommendation letter, completing an expression of interest form, participating in an interview, completing a questionnaire regarding the application, interview, and/or hiring process, and any other form of submission of personal data for the purposes described in these terms constitutes the candidate’s explicit consent to the processing of the personal data provided by the Company.
Who Has Access
Candidates’ personal data are collected and processed by the Company as the Data Controller, which may provide access to them to authorized employees responsible for managing the Company’s human resources.
Candidates’ personal data may also be further processed on behalf of the Company by partner platforms for job searching and/or job applications, and may be stored on storage systems of cooperating cloud storage service providers.
Within this framework, candidates’ personal data may also be transferred outside the European Economic Area, under strict conditions.
Data Retention Period
The personal data submitted by candidates and related information (such as evaluation comments by the Company’s authorized personnel) are kept for as long as necessary to fulfill the above purpose and, in any case, for two (2) years from their collection, provided that the data subject has not exercised their right to deletion within this period.
If a candidate’s personal data have come into our possession through a third-party job search platform, the Privacy Policy of that third party may also apply simultaneously, potentially with different terms, deadlines, and procedures.
Rights
In any case, candidates are informed that, according to applicable legislation, they retain the following rights:
- Right of access to their personal data and information regarding their processing
- Right to rectification or completion of their personal data
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to transfer their personal data to another data controller
- Right to withdraw consent for the processing of their personal data
The exercise of any of the above rights may be carried out by submitting a written request to the Company’s Data Protection Officer (DPO).
The Company’s response deadline is thirty (30) days from receipt of the request and, exceptionally, sixty (60) days if required due to the complexity of the request or the large volume of requests.

Applicable Law – Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by Greek law. For all disputes, conflicts, and disagreements between ABEK and the candidates arising from or relating to the subject matter of this Notice, the Courts of Athens shall have jurisdiction.
Entry into Force – Amendment
The terms contained in this Notice apply from 9 March 2026 and may be revised at any time in order to comply with applicable legislation or to serve the legitimate interests of the Company.
In case of revision, AVEK will publish the amended text on its website, which will become effective upon its publication. Candidates are advised to periodically review this Notice to stay informed about the applicable terms.
