On April 29, the annual event Walk for Wishes of Make-A-Wish took place, in which AVEK with Espresso Hausbrandt was present as a major sponsor. As part of World Wish Day, celebrations were organized for the 43-year anniversary of the global organization, making little Despina’s wish come true this year.

In a symbolic union of Northern and Southern Greece, this year’s walk was a tribute to the culture, melodies, customs and culture of Crete, for which the little Northern Greek Despoina has a particular preference. A walk with a Cretan “air” and the protagonists are all children who face mobility limitations.

The walk started from the pedestrian street of Dionysiou Areopagitou, and ended at the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens, with an impressive turnout of many people who rushed to honor our little friends, dancing, singing and capturing every moment of this unique day, full of unforgettable memories for Despina.

The event was held under the auspices of the Municipality of Athens and the support of the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens and the valuable contribution of the Crete Skiers Club.

AVEK participates and supports the actions of the organization and stands next to every need they have, thus contributing to the dissemination of the work and vision of Make-a-Wish.
